Sometimes there’s just nothing like going out for a gourmet lunch, and there’s no better place to do it than in Sydney, a city that bursts with vibrancy, cultural richness, and culinary treasures. I’m striving daily to make my restaurant the brightest jewel in those culinary treasures when serving lunch at Italian Street Kitchen. Today I’d like to guide you through some of my signature dishes that will make your taste buds sing with the symphony of authentic Italian cuisine.

Best Lunch In Sydney
I’ve created a special lunch menu with options as varied as they are delicious. It’s available Monday to Friday until 3pm, and allows you to choose from one, two, and three course options, depending on the experience you’re looking for. You can get one course for $25, two for $29, or three for $35, and regardless of how many courses you have, you get one house beverage at no additional charge.
Entrée
To kick start your lunch in Sydney, consider entrees like the Wood-fired Cheese Bread, an Italian flatbread delicately adorned with garlic, Italian herbs, and fior di latte cheese. Or perhaps my Calamari Fritti recipe from Venice will tempt your palate: flour-dusted, golden fried baby calamari with squid ink aioli. And don’t forget my gorgeous Potato & Truffle Croquettes from Rome: these crispy fried croquettes are filled with truffle, potato, and fior di latte cheese, and served with aioli and gremolata.
Secondi
I have five magnificent options for the secondi (what we call the main course in Italy), so if you’re struggling to decide which one to go for, we’d love to have you back to try the others.

Pizza
The Margherita Pizza is heaven for any pizza aficionado. With a tomato base, fior di latte cheese, and basil, on homemade dough that has risen for 48 hours, it’s the perfect embodiment of simplicity and sophistication. Then there’s the Prosciutto Pizza, highlighted by succulent prosciutto D’Abruzzo, with a tomato base, fior di latte cheese, rocket, and Parmesan.
Pasta
For those yearning for a taste of classic Italian pasta, my Rigatoni Bolognese will not disappoint, featuring slow-cooked beef Bolognese generously sprinkled with Parmesan. Pumpkin & Ricotta Rotolini is a truly divine pasta with a touch of sweetness. The pasta sheets are rolled and filled with butternut pumpkin and ricotta, and served with burnt butter, sage, and parmesan, along with ameretti biscuit for a surprising crunch that makes it extra special.
All of our pasta is made fresh in house every day to ensure you’re getting the top quality Italian food that makes us one of the best places for lunch in Sydney.
